We carried out the mechanical and electrical design for the conversion of an existing weapons factory into a Heritage Information Centre. The scheme included a 250 KWth Biomass boiler plant to serve the building, with wood chippings grown from a short rotation coppice on the adjacent disused landfill site. Grant funding towards the biomass boiler installation was successfully applied for.

We have completed many biomass projects for various types of buildings, focusing on the fuel supply chain applicable to the given project at feasibility stage to ensure that the carbon benefits are fully realised. Where appropriate, we would encourage the growing of a rotation crop for biomass.
