Learn More About What We Do
We offer the traditional “building services” mechanical/electrical services design and specifications packages and promote an active interest in energy conservation and low energy options. We adopt a dynamic approach to achieve integrated engineering and building services solutions. Our approach is to produce well considered designs that challenge convention and strive to reduce the carbon impact upon a building or engineering process.
In connection with Part ‘L2’ of the Building Regulations, we are CIBSE registered ‘Low Carbon Consultants’, (LCC). Working closely with all members of the design team, building developers, project managers, architects, quantity surveyors and structural engineers we are able to advise and develop building/engineering design solutions; not only demonstrating compliance with Part ‘L2’ but going beyond the regulations and providing low carbon buildings for the future. We run Thermal Analysis Software, (TAS), a Department of Communities and Local Government, (‘DCLG’), approved computer software package. TAS allows analysis and modelling of building and engineering design options and thus demonstrates compliance with Part ‘L2’ and also translates projects into carbon savings.
One of The Energy Practice core business areas is work relating to the reduction of Carbon. We specialise in supply chain analysis through to process and building studies. Many of our studies result in financial savings in both procurement and operating costs.
